Overview

Change is inevitable, but it is rarely insurmountable.

 

Project Management 12th Principle  „Enable change to achieve the envisioned future state“  claims that project professionals should prepare those impacted for the adoption and sustainment of new and different behaviors and processes required for the transition from the current state to the intended future state created by the project outcomes. 

 

Projects create and deliver change, and change is often the catalyst for the authorization of a project. That is why PMI has applied the “changemaker” moniker to project professionals. Envisioning your project as part of the organization in which it “lives” means being part of any change initiative that the organization takes. PMI calls this the systems approach to project management. It includes an understanding of change management. 

 

This education covers the processes, best practices, frameworks, and strategies behind large-scale organizational transformations, and allows organizations to leverage internal talent to transform from within.

Training framework covers right skillset for transformation project managers based on PMI Talent triangle: strategic and business management expertise, domain expertise (WoW) and leadership capabilities.

Objectives

Main objective of this training is to introduce different processes, best practices, frameworks, and strategies behind large-scale organizational transformations and how to setup change management framework when leading change initiative.

  • Discovering different approaches and practices to lead your own change initiative.

  • Learn how to apply strategies to deal with resistance to make the change stick.

  • Assess leadership skills for successful change management.

  • Train overall knowledge on case study with templates to cover different steps and tools in change process.

  • You will be better prepared to prepare and deliver future projects in your company that deals with also organizational changes (e.g. strategic transformation, AI or digital transformation, collective change,...)

  • You will earn 7 educational hours of project management education that can be used for certification holders or prerequisite for PMI certification application.
