During this practical training, participants will be introduced to professional tools, techniques and methodologies for project management, including international trends and project management techniques combined with excellent practical examples. Participants will learn how different project life cycles depend on what project management methodologies and approaches are used, from project launch to completion.
By using short case studies, practical exercises, lectures and knowledge exchange, participants have the opportunity to apply best practices and share training experience which will ultimately enable them to successfully lead the project.

This 2 day training’s framework is based on several key topics with practical workshop and will cover following topics:



  • Project management overview (definition, results, values, challenges, elements of success)

  • Trends in project management (methodologies, models, life cycles)

  • Project leader - magician in action (role, knowledge, skills, characteristics, tools)

  • How to start a project? (key principles, checklists, documents, structure)

  • Development of project plan (estimates, time plan and budget plan)




  • Fundamentals of project monitoring (implementing monitoring techniques, reporting, challenges, changes and problem solving)

  • Risks are our friends (concepts, strategies and tools)

  • Project execution (leadership, teamwork, communication, subcontracting, expectations management)

  • Project closure (checklists, challenges, project cancellation, lessons learned, documentation)

  • Tips for practical problems (pragmatic solutions to practical problems)



After training all participants will get:

  • Original custom made templates of project documents used in presentation.

  • Individual consultations on project management topics for participants 10 days after training for open training and 30 days for inhouse training.

  • 14 PDU / contact hours of project management education that can be used for PMI certification holders or prerequisite for PMI certification application.

  • Certificate of attendance.
